Darren brings more than two decades of senior banking experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer, ATB Capital Markets Corp. This experience, combined with his postgraduate work in economics and trade policy, enables Darren the keen insight and ability to measure and manage overall client and market risk. Darren is a firm believer in providing a holistic, big picture perspective which helps ensure a differentiated client experience. Darren is a member of the Executive Committee.

Prior to his current role, Darren was Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at ATB Capital Markets and previous to that - Vice President of Corporate Financial Services at ATB Financial where his passion for clients and leadership led his teams to meet and exceed corporate goals.

Darren holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Agriculture Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.
