Sherri has been with ATB Financial since 2005, always inside the ATB Wealth family of companies. She led the People and Culture function for ATB Wealth as the Head of Talent and Mastery until February 2017, when she took on a new challenge as VP Wealth Management and Office of the President. In June 2021, Sherri accepted the role of  Senior Vice President, Advisory Services.

Sherri has used her innovation mindset to tackle many projects and business challenges during her tenure, which has contributed significantly to the growth of ATB Wealth. Her passion for the human experience, be it client or team member, allows her to employ her intuitive and unconventional approach of connecting with people and addressing challenging situations to help lead towards positive outcomes.

Sherri has a reputation for developing innovative team member and client experience strategies to support a rapidly growing wealth management firm. She is a strong leader and a perpetual team player, providing associates with extraordinary training and experiences that help them provide an exceptional client experience. Throughout her time at ATB Wealth, Sherri has received several international awards for her innovative orientation package and industry-leading recruitment process. Sherri was named Canadian HR Leader of the Year for 2015 from Human Resources Magazine. Sherri has also been recognized for her contribution to the client and business acumen, as well with ATB’s prestigious Catalyst Award.

Sherri received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary in 1996. Her educational background drives her love of the profession; working with people and discovering the things that motivate them. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional, having earned the distinction from the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations. She also has her Investment Foundations certificate from the CFA Institute and is currently studying to take the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers course.

Sherri believes the most important role she will play in her lifetime is one of mother and partner.  Helping to guide and grow her son is critical as she wants to ensure he is a happy, productive member of society.
