Doug Schaffner is a market development manager based out of the ATB Wealth^® location in Kelowna. Doug joined the Kelowna team after he relocated to the Okanagan with his family, following a career as a senior financial advisor with ATB Wealth in Alberta.

As part of the inaugural ATB Wealth team outside of Alberta, Doug plays a vital role in ensuring that ATB Wealth did not just open an office—our local teams are joining and serving communities. Doug’s priorities include ensuring ATB Wealth is part of the Okanagan community and helping the community grow and prosper.

An outstanding piece of financial advice that Doug learned along the way is to invest 10 percent of what you make. Doug has seen the financial results of planning early, which has allowed his clients to meet and exceed their financial goals. Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending his time traveling to new destinations or playing and watching sports.
