To set up two-factor authentication:

1. Log in to ATB Personal using your username and password.
   1. If you’re using a temporary password provided by our Client Care team, you’ll be prompted to reset your password.
2. If you have not enrolled in 2FA already, you will be prompted to do so.
3. On the 2FA introduction screen (Securing your account), click Enrol.
4. On the following 2FA setup screen, enter your Phone number and a Phone Nickname.
5. Select a passcode delivery method: Text message (mobile only) or Automated voice call.
   1. Or you can click the Verify by email instead link toward the bottom of the screen to enrol in 2FA using email.
   2. Then enter your Email address and Email nickname.
6. Click Send code.
7. You will then receive a one-time passcode through the delivery method you chose. This code will expire after a few minutes.
8. On the following screen, enter that six-digit code.
9. Click Submit.
   1. If you didn’t receive the code or your code expired, click Send new code to get a new one.
10. You’re all done!

To manage your two-factor authentication settings:

1. Log in to ATB Personal using your username and password.
   1. If you’re using a temporary password provided by our Client Care team, you’ll be prompted to reset your password.
2. From the Overview screen, click on your name in the top right of the screen to access the profile menu.
3. From the profile menu, click Profile & Settings.
   
   1. Or click the Security link under Profile & Settings.
4. On the Security settings screen, click Manage 2FA.
5. On the Manage two-factor authentication screen, click Edit.
6. You’ll then be asked to verify your identity. Complete the challenge by entering the six-digit code sent by your preferred delivery method.
7. On the Edit 2FA settings screen, you can change your Verification method (phone or email) and the associated Phone number or Email address and Nickname.
   1. If Phone is your preferred verification method, you can also change your passcode Delivery method (Text message (mobile only) or Automated voice call). Changing this doesn’t require an additional verification challenge.
8. Click Save.
9. Confirm your 2FA method change.
10. You will then receive a unique one-time passcode through the delivery method you chose. This code will expire after a few minutes.
11. On the following screen, enter that six-digit code.
12. Click Submit.
    1. If you didn’t receive the code or your code expired, click Send new code to get a new one.
13. You’re all done!
