You can make payments on your ATB US Dollar Mastercard in Canadian dollars. When you do this, the exchange rate is determined (by Mastercard International Incorporated) based on the date you make the payment against the card balance-not the dates of the original credit transactions.

You're eligible to apply for an ATB US Dollar Mastercard if you:

• are a resident of Alberta
• are at least 18 years old
• have not declared personal bankruptcy in the past five years
• intend to use the card for personal use only

Plus, when you rent a car with your ATB US Dollar Mastercard, you're covered with a car rental collision damage waiver, so you could save on insurance (see insurance info in FAQS below).

You can get Purchase Assurance and Extended Warranty on eligible new items you purchase with your ATB US Dollar Mastercard.

When you use your ATB US Dollar Mastercard to purchase the full cost of common carrier travel, you have access to Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurance: Receive up to $150,000 CAD if a covered loss occurs while occupying a common carrier (i.e. a commercial entity that gets paid to transport goods or people).
