In the true spirit of the holiday season, and as part of ATB’s Greater Good Strategy, ATBCares is providing Albertans with 100,000 more reasons to give.

Throughout the month of December, ATB Financial will be matching donations made through ATBCares.com up to $100,000. We know that small actions can make a big impact, and we’re calling on Albertans to come together and support our most vulnerable neighbours.

“The pandemic has proven that we need each other now more than ever,” says Tara Lockyear, Chief People Officer at ATB. “Our Greater Good Strategy is rooted in addressing our biggest challenges, and our holiday ATBCares initiative provides support when and where it is needed to help Albertans thrive.”

Donations made online go directly towards supporting registered, Alberta-based charities. The demand for Alberta-based charities has never been greater, with more people in need of food security, mental health resources and attainable housing.

“Over the past 20 months, we have focused our giving efforts on supporting those who are most vulnerable,” says Chett Matchett, Associate VP of Strategy, Operations and Social Economics. “Through our Greater Good strategy, ATBCares is another example of helping where it counts, and the incredible impact we can make when we give together.”

Whether it’s supporting food banks, mental health support services, vulnerable youth, Indigenous programs or social services, there’s a broad range of groups and organizations that are making a difference in our communities.

Community is always top of mind for Matchett and it’s baked into ATB’s Greater Good Strategy.
