By submitting this application, and clicking Accept below, you:

• Are asking ATB Financial ("ATB") to open an account for you;
• Consent to ATB (and any service provider acting on its behalf) to obtaining credit, financial and related personal information about you (including a consumer or credit bureau report) from any credit reporting agency and others to verify your identity and establish credit worthiness;
  • If you are an existing ATB customer, your credit bureau report will not be pulled (unless you are applying for Overdraft Protection);
  • If you are a new ATB customer, your credit bureau report will not be pulled, but you won't have any release limits or Overdraft Protection on your savings or chequing account, as applicable;
  • If you are opening a GIC account, your credit bureau report will not be pulled;
• Agree that ATB Financial may share your credit, financial and personal information with any credit reporting agency;
• Certify that the information you supplied in your application, and any further information or documentation supplied to ATB, is correct and complete. You also acknowledge that ATB will be relying on the information and documentation;
• Have read and agree to be bound by the ATB Financial Personal Account Agreement Terms and Conditions (“Account Agreement”), and in particular, consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Account Agreement;
• Agree that any additional accounts that you open with ATB will be governed by the terms and conditions in the Account Agreement;
• Agree that your use of any account or service is your acceptance of the terms and conditions in the Account Agreement; and
• Acknowledge where there is an Applicant and Co-Applicant, the following additionally apply:
  • All references to “you/your” above includes each of the Applicant and Co-Applicant;
  • Each acknowledge and agree that ATB may take instructions from either the Applicant or the Co-Applicant without the approval of the other, regarding the account, and ATB may treat each of you as a designated agent for the other;
  • Each acknowledge that the Applicant and any Co-Applicant will be jointly and severally liable for all debts incurred by each other;
  • Each consents to the provision of the Account Agreement and any other disclosure, statements, and other notices related to the account to the Applicant named first in this application on behalf of the Applicant and any Co-Applicant.
